Need ski or snowshoe rentals?  Convenient option is to stop at the west end Ski Hut in Duluth (I-35 exit 251A): http://www.theskihut.com/rentals/

A Visa, MasterCard or Discover deposit of 30% of the reservation total is required to confirm your reservation (sorry no checks). The balance will be automatically charged 15 days prior to arrival on the same credit/debit card.  We do not split cabin reservation payments between individuals.

Cancellation Policy:   Because we are a small, family run business, last minute cancellations have a dramatic impact on our operation.  Cancellations made 15 or more days prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Individual or entire cabin cancellations made less than 15 days prior to arrival will forfeit the entire rental amount. Sorry, there are no exceptions to our cancellation policies due to poor weather, poor health or bad roads. See our "Snow Guarantee" below for our policy on poor snow conditions.

Check-in: 1pm to 9pm (If arriving past 7:30pm you'll need to make alternate dinner plans)

Check-out: 1pm

General Policies: To make our guest's stay with us relaxing and peaceful:

  • Motorized recreational vehicles may NOT be operated on premise

  • No indoor smoking

  • No pets in buildings - Dog kennel reservation booking option is available

  • Quiet Hours: 10pm – 7am

Our Snow Guarantee allows you the option to cancel your ski weekend reservation and receive a full refund if we do not have "Skiable Snow" at 9am the day before your ski weekend starts (normally Thursday).  An official "Snow Guarantee" cancellation announcement will be posted on the home page of this website under the "Ski Trail Report" comments at that time. “Skiable Snow” is defined as adequate snow for skiing on our designated "easiest" (flatter) trail loops (approximately 50% or 15km).  Some areas of thinner, melted or wind blown snow may be present and set tracks may be less than ideal.  You will need to notify us via email if you choose to cancel your reservation by midnight of the day the announcement is posted on our website.  If you decide to come up despite the lack of "Skiable Snow," we will discount your stay by 30%.  You can still eat, sleep, hike, hot tub, sauna, polar plunge, relax and hope for snow in the splendor of the big pines! We do update trail conditions regularly on our website's home page, so please do not call or email us with snow condition inquiries.
